Araq: An aniseed-flavored spirit that can be drunk alone, or with ice cubes or water. Adding ice cubes or water will turn it a milky-white colour.

Taybeh Brewery is a Palestinian brewery founded in 1994. Taybeh Brewery is located in the West Bank in the village of Taybeh, 35 km north of Jerusalem. Its first beer was produced in 1995 and since then it has become world famous. There are currently five types of Taybeh beer: Golden, Light, Berber and Golden.
