Welcome to the Official Website of Beit Sahour Municipality.

Beit Sahour is a multicultural city that welcomes people from different nationalities, ethnicity, race and color. It is the city where foreigners find hospitality, generosity, warmth and unforgettable memories.

Visiting the city of the Shepherds’ Field is a wonderful experience for tourists, pilgrims and visitors. To be in the place where the angels announced the birth of Jesus Christ to the shepherds, is an important part of any pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Beit Sahour is one of the main tourist attractions as there are many historical and biblical sites in and around the city.

Beit Sahour is the place to be, it is the community to live in, the society to contribute to, it is the city that welcomes diversity, the city that is proud of its international relations and cooperation and partners.

Beit Sahour is not only a multicultural city, but it is also the symbol of peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims, as both have been living together side by side in peace and amity, working for the benefit of the city, as such notable coexistence can be seen through the social, cultural and community events that take place all around the city on an annual basis.

Beit Sahour Municipality is the leading body of the sustainable development wheel. It is the body that executes most of the big projects that target the city’s different sectors through the strategic development plan that was put in cooperation between the Municipality and the local community as citizens and local organizations.
