Work continues to develop and upgrade Beit Sahour’s street lighting
As part of its development plan to make the city’s infrastructure more efficient and improve the services it provides to residents, Beit Sahour Municipality continues its routine maintenance, rehabilitation and development of the street lighting network across the city.
As part of this work, the Municipality’s Electricity Department crews replaced old light fittings in the Beit Bassa area, along the stretch from the Beit Bassa junction to the Catholic housing estate, to improve the lighting and its efficiency along the whole street.
The work is part of the Municipality’s ongoing programme to develop the lighting network, which aims at:
- Better lighting of streets and roads.
- Greater safety for residents and road users.
- A more efficient and sustainable lighting network.
- A more attractive streetscape and better municipal services.
Beit Sahour Municipality will continue to carry out maintenance and development projects in every neighbourhood of the city, following a work plan for a safer and more efficient city with better services.
