Beit Sahour Municipality continues removing disused electricity and lighting poles from the city’s streets
On the morning of Wednesday 23 September 2026, workers from Beit Sahour Municipality’s Electricity Department removed a large number of disused electricity and lighting poles from different parts of the city.
The work is part of the Municipality’s efforts to improve and organise public facilities and to clear and widen pavements so that pedestrians can move more easily, and to remove disused poles that may be an obstacle or a danger to residents.
Beit Sahour Municipality will continue its maintenance and rehabilitation work across the city, improving public safety and keeping the city’s streets in good order.
